Using this site means accepting these terms. They are written to be read, not to hide anything.
1. Who we are
Pyrmont Bay Stays (pyrmontbaystays.com) is an independent website about The Star Grand Hotel in Pyrmont, Sydney. It is not the hotel's website and is not connected with The Star Entertainment Group or any of its companies. Contact: hello@pyrmontbaystays.com.
2. Information, not advice
We take facts from the hotel, venue operators and public bodies, and give the date we checked them. Hotels change rooms, rates and hours without notice. Before you rely on a detail, check it with the hotel; we accept no responsibility for changes after our check date.
3. Room requests
The request form asks our booking desk to look for a room. It is not a reservation, does not hold a room, and does not fix a price. A booking exists only when the hotel or a booking partner confirms it to you, on their terms and conditions, including cancellation rules. You pay them, not us.
4. How we are paid
The hotel or a booking partner may pay us a commission when a request becomes a confirmed stay. We do not charge you. Details: money matters.
5. Gambling
The hotel is part of a complex that includes a casino. This site does not offer, promote or facilitate gambling of any kind, and does not cover online gambling. The casino is for adults aged 18 and over. Help is available on 1800 858 858.
6. Links
Outbound links point to the hotel, the venues around it, transport operators and public bodies. Those pages belong to their owners; what they say, and how they treat your data, is up to them, not us.
7. Pictures and text
Images on this site are illustrations, not photographs of the hotel. The text is ours; quoting short passages with a link back is fine.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from use of this site or from a stay booked after a request. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; the date below will change when we do. Last updated 1 November 2026.

In daylight terms: we tell you what we found and when.
You check anything important with the hotel.
By night
In night-time terms: nothing is booked until the hotel says so.
Nobody here will ask for your card.
